Stop At: W.E.B. Dubois Center, Outside of Accra, Accra Ghana

The center is named after William Edward Burghardt Du Bois who was an African-American civil rights activist and later became a citizen of Ghana in the 1960s. He is often known as the ‘Father of Pan-Africanism’. The centre is where he once lived with his wife and where they are now buried. It houses his personal library, a small museum with a handful of personal effects such as his graduation robes. The mausoleum is surrounded by Asante stools, a seminar room, a restaurant, a gallery, an amphitheater and a research centre for Pan-African history and culture.

Stop At: Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, High St., Accra Ghana

This Memorial Park tells the history of the life of Dr. Nkrumah and his struggle for independence. It also contains personal belongings Dr. Nkrumah, his final burial place and that of his wife.

Stop At: Center for National Culture, 28th February Rd Near Nkrumah Memorial Park & Mausoleum, Accra Ghana

Travelers can browse through the art center which is a market for made in Ghana products ranging from clothes to bags to accessories, art works and wooden sculptures. Travelers can make purchase of items that catches their eye.

Stop At: Independence Square, Accra Ghana

This is one of the biggest squares in the world which was designed for huge events, military marches and commercial events such as concerts and fashion shows, which take place throughout the year.
It was commissioned to honour the visit of Queen Elizabeth II. The roundabout before the square contains in the center, the Black Star Gate also known as the Black Star Monument which was built in 1961.

Stop At: Jamestown Lighthouse, 600 Bruce Rd, Accra, Ghana

Jamestown is vibrant community where one can observe the lifestyle of the average Jamestown resident. The colonial-era lighthouse, built in the 1930s provides a great view of the city and the busy and colourful fishing harbour. One can find several boxing gyms in Jamestown as it is known to produce some of the boxing champions from Ghana. The JamesTown Cafe which is a stylish architect-owned cafe, bar and music venue can be found just across the sea. There is also the ArchiAfrika gallery opposite, which showcases African architecture and design.

Stop At: Osu, Accra Ghana

This is one of the most lively parts of Accra. It is a hub of activity 24 hours a day. Many of Accra's best bars, restaurants like Buka, Frankies & Monson and shops are in Osu. Stalls line the street and hawkers hound tourists selling personalised goods, boutique shops and other made in Ghana products. There are no specific tourist sights but still remains an essential part of any visit to Ghana.
