About this activity
After 45 min drive, we will arrive to an artisanal confectionery of the oldest french candy, the berlingot.
We will assist to the traditional making of berlingot in copper cauldron by the grandson of the family. He will explain us the history of the berlingot, show us how he cooks them and make us taste berlingot he just made.
Then, direction the fabulous historical wine estate of Châteauneuf-du-pape, with its old castle from the 15th century and its beautiful village.
Châteauneuf du pape is the oldest french wine appellation.
Your guide has chosen 3 wineries among the 250 in the Châteauneuf appellation to show you 3 different philosophies and approach of wine making. You will learn everything on the wine making process thanks to the visits made by the winemakers or someone on their team.
You will enjoy a wine tasting after each visit.
For lunch, your guide has chosen a friendly Provencal restaurant in the center of the village.
After lunch, you will be drive to the castle, the peak of the village to see the amazing point of view on the landscape around.
At the end of the afternoon, your guide will drop you off at your hotel or villa.
