Biodynamic wine tasting with winery tour in Monferrato

Lidia and Paolo left Milan some years ago because they fell in love with Alto Monferrato, a portion of southern Piedmont close to the Liguria border.

They bought an ancient farm and vineyards and they started to produce natural wines, less sulphites, aged in big barrels, barriques and amphora. The farm Il Rocco di Carpeneto is located between Ovada and Acqui Terme, on a gorgeous plateau surrounded by vineyards, and it includes a small b&b.

They will introduce you to their philosophy, and the you will visit the winery and taste their red local wines such as Dolcetto, Dolcetto OVADA DOCG superiore and Barbera del Monferrato DOCG.
