About this activity
Visit: Roman Amphitheatre, Raml Station Square At Kom El Dekka near the Roman Museum, Alexandria 21599 Egypt

The Roman Theater in Alexandria in Kom el Dekka is one of the monuments of the Roman era and was established at the beginning of the fourth century AD. Another theater in Egypt is the Belozium Theater, which is located in the Belozium area 25 km east of the Suez Canal. This building was discovered by accident, during the removal of soil to search for the tomb of Alexander the Great by the Polish mission in 1960. Archaeologists called the name of the Roman theater at the discovery of marble stairs, but there was great controversy about the function of this archaeological building. The excavation took about 30 years
