Depart Amsterdam for a morning or afternoon trip to the famous gardens of Keukenhof, situated in the town of Lisse in the province of South Holland. Journey by air-conditioned coach for approximately 1 hour, driving past the tulip fields that the Netherlands are so famous for. Learn the history of the region from your local guide along the way. Get stories and insights into Amsterdam, Dutch culture and the Keukenhof gardens themselves.
Upon arrival at Keukenhof, benefit from the opportunity to explore the park on your own. You will be provided with a map to help. Follow your guide to the gardens to enjoy approximately 3 hours of free time. Stroll along the many paths, lined with vibrant tulips and spring blooms like daffodils, bluebells and hyacinth. Visit the pavilions to see flowering bulbs, cut flowers, pot plants and artistic floral displays that can change every week. Bring your own picnic lunch to enjoy outside, or purchase a refreshment at one of the park's restaurants.
During the diamond factory visit, you will see craftsman cut and polish rough stones, the guide will tell you about 4`C of diamond valuation, the origin of diamonds and the Royal titel of the factory (the oldest in the world!). Your personal guide explains about the mystical world of diamonds and the process a diamond goes through. There is so much more to know about diamonds!
The morning tour will start by visiting the Keukenhof and after return to Amsterdam a visit to the diamond factory. The afternoon tour will start in Amsterdam visiting the royal diamond factory.
