In Focus: The Faces of Amsterdam Past & Presrnt

This In Focus tour brings immigration to the forefront of the conversation, by examining Amsterdam’s proud history of welcoming settlers from all over the world. We will delve into the city’s history of inclusivity, and meet first and second-generation migrants who have benefited from it. We'll also visit a local foundation that is helping refugee artists in Amsterdam to tell their stories on their own terms. Amsterdam is an amazing city, brimming with quirkiness and creativity, and bursting with stories to tell. On this In Focus tour, we're telling the story of multiculturalism in the Netherlands, both historically and in the present day, via the experiences of diverse Amsterdammers.
