Rainforest Hike & Rappel

Experience a true taste of the Gold Rush. You’ll prospect into a remote dry creek canyon from a trailhead at the Historic Crow Creek Gold Mine. Along the way you’ll use harnesses, ropes, gloves, helmets and ladders to overcome some truly rough country. Experience a beautiful waterfall, mossy canyons, and hidden caves in the spruce and hemlock stands of this northernmost reach of the Pacific Coast’s temperate rainforest. Together we’ll rappel fifty feet into a canyon, using harnesses, belay devices and ropes to descend to the lush canyon floor. Be prepared for stream crossings! Dress warm on this tour. Long pants and sturdy shoes are required.
