About this activity
Mount Sibilla is a mountainous relief (2.173 m) of the Apennine group of the Sibillini. It takes its name from the Apennine Sibyl, mythical inhabitant of the homonymous cave (located near the summit) that for centuries has sailed the height of an aura of legend and mystery.
The trek will start in "Rifugio Sibilla" 1540 mt after a dirt road you have to drive along to reach the departure point.
Difficulty E / I (Easy / Intermediate). Distance: 12 km Drop: 600m Time: 4.5h
Materials: waterproof cape, hiking boots or shoes with sculpted sole, layered clothing, anorak, hat. Front lamp or flashlight (in case of night excursion). Water 1.5 liters, fruit, dried fruit or energizing bars, packed lunch.
