Home of New Zealand's navy, Devonport village is a wonderfully eclectic collection of cafes and small boutiques. It is also home to two of Auckland's volcanoes. From one, Maungauika, North Head, you will get 360 degree panoramic views across the Auckland Region

Located an hour north of Auckland, the Matakana/Warkworth region is a gateway to numerous golden sand beaches, wineries, craft shops such as Morris and James pottery.

Stop At: Muriwai Beach, Auckland New Zealand

From the languid golden sands of the east coast we will head west and through the Kumeu wine region and out to Muriwai Beach. Auckland's west coast beeches are well known for their black sand and amazing surf beaches. Muriwai is also home to a colony of Gannets. The walk ways and viewing platforms get you up close to the birds with the best viewing times being from August to April when the birds are fledging.
