Stop At: Chao Phraya River, 780/488 Charoen Krung Road, Bang Kho Laem, Bangkok 10120 Thailand

Our driver picks you up at your central Bangkok hotel and drives you to our main office, where you’ll be greeted by your guide. Walk 300 meters from our office and board your long tail boat and venture on a scenic, one-hour canal tour into the canals in the old capital, Thon Buri. Experience the traditional life along the river and learn the historical, cultural, and local meaning that dwells along the canals. For hundreds of years the commerce of Thailand’s communities flourished through the waterways, which is why Bangkok used to be called the Venice of the East. Explore a small town of teakwood houses on stilts and see the many contrasts of life here. If you’re lucky, you can spot some wildlife on this ride, too. Local wildlife includes birds, turtles, catfish, and monitor lizards.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun), 34 Wang Doem Road Wat Arun, Bang Kok Yai, Bangkok 10600 Thailand

It’s one of the longest in Thailand, measuring 46 meters, and one whose feet are beautifully inlaid with mother-of-pearl and carved with holy signs.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Pak Khlong Talat (Flower Market), Jakkrapet Road, Bangkok 10200 Thailand
