Isaan is the north-eastern region of Thailand. It is one of the poorest areas of the country and many people migrated to Bangkok to find better lives. Despite having to abandon its roots, this proud people didn’t leave behind its rich cultural heritage. When you venture away from tourist routes, you can see plenty of restaurants serving from this region. We’ll take you to a street restaurant where you can enjoy some huge array of dishes served here. From spiciest and smelliest Som Tam, to the mild but savoury Moo Daet Diaw.
