About this activity
Venture on a memorable journey to the hidden slum world of Bangkok. The Klong Toei area is the oldest and largest slum in Bangkok, having been around for about 50 years.

8.30am - Pickup from your hotel and drive to Klong Toei.

9.00am - Walk through the slum communities which are made up of a majority of rural migrants from Northeast Thailand who came to Bangkok for job opportunities. As you walk through the narrow alleyways you will discover that most now have the basic amenities such as electricity, gas and some modern conveniences.

10.30am - Interact with the children aged up to 6 years old, during their morning classes which follow the Montessori style of learning and form a bond with them during their hands-on lessons. Before leaving, you will have the opportunity to help the teachers serve the children their lunch after which it will be time to bid farewell to your new found friends.
