Stop At: River Kwai, Kanchanaburi Thailand

Your guide will pick you up in front of your hotel in the Bangkok area to head to Kanchanaburi province. The first stop is the Tiger Cave Temple. Your guide will walk you through the main spots around this temple before you climb the 157 steps to see the giant Buddha statue.

Next, visit the colossal Chedi, 69 meters high, 29 meters wide, and completely hollow. A staircase inside the building leads you up to the top. On the pagoda of the Chedi, take in the scenes of the countryside, with great views from all sides.

Continue to the world-famous bridge on the River Kwai. This steel bridge is one of the most important historical landmarks and memorials in Thailand, commemorating the Thai experience in the WWII period.

The history of the bridge is well known, as it was part of the railway lines in World War II and had seen its fair share of conflict and bloodshed. After World War II, the damaged bridge was renovated by the Thai government in 1946.

Enjoy the riverside view and tuck into a local Thai food buffet.

Later, your guide will take you to Mallika R.E.124, where you will learn about Siamese lifestyle during the reign of King Chulalongkorn, Rama V. You will have a chance to dress like a traditional Thai person with costumes, and stroll around to see what the vendors have to offer.

Take some beautiful photos and make some beautiful memories. Complete your day with a safe drop off at your hotel in Bangkok around 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
