The most iconic and known of all temples, situated within the grounds of the Ayutthaya Historical Park this temple boasts the Buddha head inside the bodhi tree. The ruins itself paint a clear picture of what the capital would've been at the time.

Arriving at this temple at sunset and watching the remaining light of day fade away behind the ruins is and journey difficult to describe. Right after sundown the temple is lit up and feels like a totally unique place. It's the best ending to an unforgettable day.
