About this activity
Meet with us at 10:00am at BTS On Nut Exit 1 (at the staircase upstairs - not at street level). From there we will walk past dozens of lottery stalls. The Thai lottery system is a little different from western lotteries - here you will find out in what way.

As we pass many house temples (nearly every building in Thailand has one) we will talk yout their purpose and how Thais pay tribute to them. Finally we arrive at the temple that hosts this very famous lady ghost. She was a character in numerous Thai movies and TV-Series. She is the "star of the ghosts" in Bangkok. Especially ladies come here to ask for her blessing and luck with their pregancy.

Throughout the tour we engourage you to ask questions and get into a dialogue with your host. He is not a teacher that recites facts.

At one point we will feed fish to improve our Karma and learn about the symbolism of different water-animals. For example if you are born on a Monday you have to release 15 animals into the canal. Lucky if you are born on a Sunday - that would only mean nine - bad luck for those, who were born on a Friday ... they have to release 21 creatures. But don't worry, if you only want to buy 1 or 2 fish, that is totally fine and will help to improve your Karma already.

After our simple lunch with original thai dishes in a small stall along the street we will take a water-taxi or taxi (depending on traffic and availability) back to the BTS Station, where the tour ends. We hope you will enjoy this experience with us.
