About this activity
Day 1 - Bangkok

After the overnight flight to Bangkok, the morning will be free for you to recover from the long journey and adapt to the time zone. We will have a welcome breakfast and orientation to the expedition. We will then have a relaxing first night at the vibrant night market in the famous Khau San Road, complete with a traditional Thai massage. Free evening. Photo Theme: markets, people. Overnight in Bangkok (L)

Day 2 - Bangkok

Our day will consist of photo tours of the Royal Palace and the colossal reclining Buddha, followed by numerous ancient temples in the city. Our sunset will be near the Mansion riverside in Bangkok. We will then document more experiences at the night market. Photo theme: ancient temples, everyday, people, and markets. Overnight in Bangkok (B)

 

Day 3 - Damnern Saduak

Early morning departure to the floating market. We will arrive before the tourists and photograph the daily market setup spectaculr. After lunch, return to Bangkok where we photograph the Muay Thai fighters. In the evening we will leave by train to Chiang Mai, located in the north of Thailand. Day 4 - Chiang Mai

We arrive in Chiang Mai in the morning. In the afternoon we will photograph a field of elephants, the Wat Doi Suthep temple followed by many other temples, and at night the famous traditional night market in the walled city of Chiang Mai. Photo Theme: ancient temples, elephants, people, markets, etc. Overnight in Chiang Mai (B)

 

Day 5 - Luang Prabang

In the morning we will take a short flight to one of the most beautiful places in Asia, Luang Prabang, which was the capital of Laos, and is now preserved as a mixture of French colonial architecture and ancient Buddhist temples. After we arrive to the hotel we will take some time for photographic exploration of the local market and streets. Free evening. Photo Theme: mountain landscapes, scenes on the Mekong River, people, markets. Overnight in Luang Prabang (B)

 

Day 6 - Luang Prabang

Free day for personal interests. Photo Theme: Free. Overnight in Luang Prabang (B)

 

Day 7 - Luang Prabang

Luang Prabang is listed as a UNESCO heritage site. We will wake up early to photograph the daily collection of donations to many monks in the city. We will visit the national museum and the ancient palace of King Wat Xiengthong and Phu Si Hill, visit the Buddhist monks in the monasteries, and experience the Phosi market in addition to many fabulous temples. Tonight we will have our farewell dinner. Photo Theme: ancient temples, scenes on the Mekong River, historic city, people, markets. Overnight in Luang Prabang (B,D)

 

Day 8 - Luang Prabang

After breakfast, transport to the airport and return flight (B)
