About this activity

This class begins with a journey to a local fresh food market where you will learn how to choose the best ingredients and the freshest seafood to cook paella. Next, you will enjoy some traditional tapas while your instructor teaches you how to make (and subsequently) drink fresh sangria. After this you will participate in an interactive cooking class where you will learn how to make a seafood paella step by step. Your instructor will share some interesting and fun facts about paella, its ingredients, and its history. The final step in our paella class will be to enjoy the fruits of our labor! Generous portions of paella and sangria will be enjoyed alongside great company, so come hungry! You will meet in front of Botanic Bar Cafe, located at Carrer de Muntaner 64, and from there you will go with your instructor to buy the ingredients for the paella at a local market nearby. This market is non-touristic and offers locally-sourced fresh food.

After this you will go back to the cooking class venue which is Botanic Bar Cafe, a lovely cafe decorated with tropical plants and a very warm atmosphere. Your group will have the entire place to itself!
