Day trip to La Tomatina Festival from Barcelona

La Tomatina is a food fight festival held on the last Wednesday of August each year in the town of Buñol near to Valencia in Spain. Thousands upon thousands of people make their way from all corners of the world to fight in this ‘World’s Biggest Food Fight’ where more than one hundred metric tons of over-ripe tomatoes are thrown in the streets.

We will depart from Barcelona in the early hours of the morning and make the 5-hour journey south to Buñol. Upon arrival, start the day off with some complimentary sangria from our team! You will then be given your bracelets that will give you fast-access to the festival (no waiting for hours trying to get a ticket!) At 11:00am, the food fight begins and after an hour of tomato madness, we will rinse off, have some more sangria and then make our way back to Barcelona. Don’t forget to bring fresh clothes to change.
