About this activity
Escape the big city and go exploring during this exciting full-day private tour. Board private transportation in Barcelona and take off to the Penedes region of Spain, known for its beautiful scenery and delicious local wines.
Visit one of several local wineries, where an expert guide will explain the wine-making process, including that of Cava, Spain’s signature sparkling wine. Then enjoy a tasting of the vineyard’s own products before hopping back in the car and continuing on to Montserrat.
After arriving in Montserrat, the guide will explain the variety of things to see and do on your own. Visit the town’s famous monastery and see its statue of the Black Madonna; listen to the children’s choir give a short performance; and ride a funicular up the mountain to enjoy breathtaking views. Throughout the tour, learn more about the history of this charming town from the guide and local tourist information. Return to Barcelona by private car at the end of the day.
