About this activity

The Palauet Casades is a palatial building with classic lines, built at the end of the 19th century.

It has a rectangular ground plan and is arranged around a central patio with marble columns reminiscent of Pompeian houses. The first floor was devoted to private use in the form of bedrooms. The ground floor was made up of reception rooms, an office, dining room and chapel. Francesc Vidal, one of the most important furniture makers in the city, was commissioned to make the original furnishings.

In 1923, the Barcelona Law Association bought the building in order to turn it into their corporate headquarters.

During the visit, you will visit its interiors and the library, which is internationally considered one of the most important of its kind concerning jurisprudence.
