Món Sant Benet is a unique cultural complex that integrates a magnificent medieval monastery, a modernist summer residence, restaurants, shop, and all located in incomparable natural surroundings, in the centre of Catalonia.

In the monastery we will do two different routes to discover the imprint that history has made on this unique site over one thousand years, from the Early Middle Ages to the Art Nouveau period:

One thousand years of sensations (medieval tour): In a museum production, we invite you to become immersed in the life of a monastery, in which voices, everyday noises and images from the past emerge between the walls of this thousand-year-old monastery, converting this tour into a truly unique experience. A route around the principal features of the monastery site: the church, the cloister, the wine cellar and the cells in the Montserrat gallery, enabling us to see what life was really like for the monastery community.

A day in the life of Ramon Casas (Art Nouveau tour): A tour that takes us on a journey back to 1924 to see the rooms over the cloister that the painter Ramon Casas and his family turned into their summer residence. Music, lights, images, smells... guide us through the different salons and rooms providing an experience that’s evocative and full of feeling.

After the visits, we can enjoy a little typical tasting in our store (Carquinyolis and Herbes of St Benet) and a traditional lunch at La Fonda restaurant
