About this activity

This Via Ferrata is one of the two via ferrata available in the Montserrat Natural Park. Faceing north, it is an excellent view point of the south side of the Pyrenees, with its snowcaped summits for about 4 months in winter time.
We will meet up in the Parking of Sta. Cacília Monastery, and then start hiking the Sant Jeroni gully for 45 minutes, a good warm up...
Once on the starting point of the via Ferrata, we'll put on our material and start climbing.
In the middel of the itinerary, the Agulla de Sta. Cecília, we'll have a break to have an snak and drink some water.
The second half or the route will lead us to the top of Sant Jeroni, at 1.236 mts. avobe the sea level, stunning view point over all Catalonia, from the Pyrenees to the Mediterranean sea.
