About this activity
You will be met at your hotel in Bath by your guide who was born and grew up in the city giving you the chance to meet and talk to a real Bathonian! From your hotel you will be driven to a fantastic viewpoint over the city before continuing by foot into the centre of Bath to explore the city and see famous landmarks such as the Royal Crescent, Bath Abbey, Pulteney Bridge and many more. You will also be shown the location of Bath's hot springs, without which Bath would not be the city it is today. During the tour you will hear stories about the city's past as well as life today in Bath.
There is not time on a 3 hour tour to go inside museums such as the Roman Baths but your guide will happily point these out to you or offer suggestions if you would like to visit one during your stay.
The tour ends in the centre of Bath.
The morning tour starts at 09:30, the afternoon tour starts at 13:30 in the winter and at 14:00 in the rest of the year. All tours are private.
