2-Day Private Beijing Classic Tour with Great Wall and Top City Attractions

Day 1 Beijing (Lunch)

At 08:00 our guide and driver will greet you at your hotel. First we will take a walk on the Tiananmen Square, the heart and symbol of Beijing and the largest city square in the world. Then you will pay a visit the Forbidden City, the imperial palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912). There were 24 emperors of the two dynasties lived in the Forbidden City. After lunch, we will drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, the most scenic part of Chinese Great Wall. 90% of the Great Wall here is covered by vegetation. So in each season this part of the Great Wall will treat visitors with its unique scenery. If hiking is too much for you, cable car is available and optional. Today you will also pay a visit to the Jade Carving Factory to learn about Chinese jade culture and appreciate some exquisite jade artworks. After visiting, you will be escorted back to your hotel in Beijing city area.

Day 2 Beijing (Lunch)

At 08:00 our guide and driver will greet you at your hotel. Today’s first stop will be Temple of Heaven which serviced as a complex of sacrificial building where Emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed for peace and harvest. Then you will pay a visit to Summer Palace, the largest and most completely preserved imperial garden in China. At last you will take a walk through Hutong to see daily life of local people. Today you will also pay a visit to a Silk Market to learn about Chinese silk culture and appreciate some great silk artworks. After the tour, you will be escorted back to hotel.
