Beijing group day tour of the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace

Your friendly local tour guide will pick you up from your Beijing downtown hotel lobby between 06:30 am – 08:00 am, get in a comfortable coach to start the full-day Beijing city sightseeing.

You will first come to visit Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City. In 1987, it was declared a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO. Now it is one of the most visited museums in the world and a must-see in Beijing for all travelers. Follow your guide to see the main building on the square and visit the Forbidden City along the central axis. Then visit an herb workshop to learn Chinese traditional medicine culture, continue to discover the ancient philosophy, history, and religion at the Temple of Heaven, which is China's largest and most representative existing masterpiece among China’s ancient sacrificial buildings.

After enjoying a traditional Chinese cuisine lunch in a local restaurant, visit a pearl market to do some shopping and get gifts for your relatives back home. Move on to explore the royal garden of Summer Palace. This is the largest and most famous imperial garden in China. The palace features hundreds of architecturally distinct buildings, halls, pavilions, pagodas, bridges and corridors dispersed among magnificent and elegant gardens.
