About this activity

Your private English-speaking tour guide and driver will pick you up around 7:30 am in the lobby of your Beijing city hotel. Drive 1.5 hours to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Then your friendly tour guide will get you the entrance ticket, accompany you to hike on the Wall and tell you the history. You can hike up or take the cable car, chairlift up to the Wall. Spend on the Wall around 2 to 2.5 hours to discover the different Watch towers and decorative elements of the Great Wall and get fantastic photos as well.

Have lunch at a nice local restaurant according to your request after the visit of the Great Wall. If you would like to skip lunch to save time, it's also no problem.

Then drive 1.5 hours to the beautiful Summer Palace. Which is located at the Northwestern suburbs of Beijing. The Summer Palace is the best-preserved former royal garden in China. Your tour guide will show you around the ancient pavilions, residence, temples, bridges and gardens. You're able to enjoy the Dragon Boat ride on the Kungming Lake from April to the early Nov..

Drop you back to your hotel approximately 4:30pm after the tour.
