Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang), West Changan Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100006 China
Accompanied by your professional guide from your hotel travel to Huanghuacheng Great Wall
The slightly less famous Huanghuacheng section of the wall is 65 km from Beijing in Huanghuacheng Town. You will take around 1.5 - 2 hours drive and then you will see the 10,800-meter section of the wall that was the strongest and most well built, with six forts guarding six passes, twelve beacon towers, and thirty-two watchtowers. Ming Dynasty General Cai Kai supervised its construction.
Upon arrival, enjoy your leisure time around 2 - 3 hours hiking along the wall. The current unrestored condition of the wall here made it quite tricky to climb. Some part walls are quite steep and the surface is very slippery with many loose bricks.
You will take the lunch at the local restaurant down the Huanghuacheng village. It's owned by local village farmers and who raised the rainbow trout and you can try the rainbow trout barbecue there. The restaurant might not be so fancy with perfect toilet but it has delicious food there.
After lunch transfer to Tiananmen Square and admire structures like the National Museum of China and the Maozhuxi Jiniantang Chairman Mao Memorial Hall. Next, explore the UNESCO-listed Forbidden City, the former imperial palace with over 600 years of history.
Heading back to your hotel.
