About this activity
Meet a driver at your Belek hotel for 6:30am departure along the coast, with views of Kumluca and Finike along the way.

Upon arrival in Myra, visit ancient Lycian ruins with a large and beautiful necropolis, a group of tombs sculpted into the stone, then see the nearby theater and learn the story of Saint Nicholas, who was the Bishop of Myra in the 4th century and is credited with introducing Christianity in Turkey.

Visit his church in Demre to find colorful frescos and the saint's sarcophagus, and see the three memorials to Saint Nicholas on the church grounds.

After lunch in a local restaurant, begin the 30-minute drive to the Ucagiz port. Board a boat for an hour-long cruise to the Island of Kekova, which was split and sunk in a powerful earthquake. Take in the ruins of the ancient buildings, fortress, theater, and sarcophagi that are visible beneath the surface of the water from the boat's clear glass bottom. In fine weather, cool off with a swim in the ocean by the Island of Kekova before the return trip to shore.

This trip concludes with drop-off at your original departure point.
