About this activity
Meet your guide just outside the main entrance of the TV Tower in Alexanderplatz. From there we take the public train to Oranienburg and walk to the nearby Sachsenhausen. On the tour you'll see the main entry area, Tower "A" with the infamous sign "Arbeit Macht Frei". From there we'll visit the roll-call area, the Jewish Barracks, and the former prison before visiting Station Z, which housed the camp's gas chamber and crematorium.

You will also explore the pathology and infirmary areas, the reinforced perimeter fences and towers, as well as see how the Soviets further used the camp after defeating the Nazis. You'll have plenty of time to ask questions and take photos. This tour will leave a powerful impression on all that visit.
