About this activity
Be inspired with the magic of music. During the three-hour walking tour in Ibague, you will interact with the local culture and taste delicious city flavors.

The experience starts by meeting your tour guide at Tolima´s Art Museum at 9am. Together you will visit an exhibition about a local artist. Then, begin a walking tour through the streets whose name was inspired by traditional songs as “La Llorona,” “Viviras mi Tolima” and “Al Sur”, passing through the house of Festival Folclorico Colombiano. You will visit Concha Garzon y Collazos and the peculiar Ibague Panopticon. These places are considered part of the cultural heritage of the city.

Continue to Main Square Plaza de Bolivar to know more about the city origins. See the Conservatorio de Musica, a prominent place because it was the first musical university in Colombia. Finally, enjoy your delicious picnic of a mix of Tamal and Lechona, one of the most loved dishes of Colombian gastronomy, with a local drink made of sweet cane.
