About this activity
Departure toward the north of the city, passing through residential areas to then take Panamericana Norte Avenue. There, the urban landscape mixes with the green vegetation of the mountains and the Savannah - the name given to the great Andean valley located on the eastern cordillera of the Colombian Andes, suitable for the cultivation of vegetables, corn, and ideal for export-quality roses. After passing through the town of Chía we arrive at the town of Zipaquirá, a small Andean city where we find the Salt Cathedral (Catedral de Sal). Inside we are directed by an expert guide, admiring the Calvary and the 12 Stations of the Cross, until reaching the main altar from which one can appreciate the splendor of this work, considered as a national heritage due to its special design. (Admission to the Cathedral included). Return to hotel.
