Black Volcanic Sand Beaching

1 day
About this activity
Playa La Barqueta Beach was once a large cattle plantation on the Western Pacific Coast of Panama. It has now become a vacation paradise for tourists. This beautiful destination is situated on 18 miles of beautiful black volcanic sand beaches of the Pacific Ocean and is located just only 55 minutes from the town of Boquete. Once we arrive you will be able to choose from one of the rustic built bamboo tiki huts for shade and the storage of your personal belongings. Playa La Barqueta is known for Las Olas, a 5-star beach resort, built in 2001. Surfing, fishing, kayaking, beach walking, bicycling, shelling, and birding are all available here. Feel free to explore at your leisure. We will rendezvous back at the Tiki huts at 12pm to head out for lunch at 1pm of our favorite local eateries located on the beach. After lunch you will be on your own, we meet up again at the Tiki huts at 2:30pm for departure back to Boquete. We should arrive no later than 4pm, depending on traffic.
