About this activity
You'll meet your guide around 8:50am at your central departure point in Bordeaux, where you'll then head out to explore the charming medieval village of Saint-Emilion and its vineyard (listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site). The tour will start off with a visit in a Grand Cru winery for a visit and tasting. During the tour, you will learn about the complete wine making process, what the French call the 'terroir' and most importantly, you will be able to taste the beautiful merlot wines of Saint-Emilion. The morning will end up with a guided walking tour through Saint-Emilion village, followed by a wine tasting in a local wine shop (optional).

You'll travel back to Bordeaux just in time for lunch and for you to be able to enjoy the rest of your day. Ask your guide for lunch recommendations!
