About this activity
This is the favourite tour for all pony fans out there! Pony-trekking is the perfect way to experience the unspoiled hillocks of Somerset.

Meet at Bristol Temple Meads Train Station for a pick-up and transportation to Tynings. You start this tour with a leisurely pony ride across the peaceful Mendip countryside, along bridle paths and through the forest – this trail-ride at Tynings is excellent for beginner and experienced riders alike.

The adventure continues with a hike through the ancient woodland at Kings Wood and a climb onto the dramatic landscape of Wavering Down to reach one of the most distinctive of all the Mendip hills - Crook Peak.

You take lunch and enjoy a glass of champagne at the summit of this craggy limestone ridge with one of the most inspiring hill-top views in the South.

Your final stop is the charming seaside resort of Weston-Super-Mare – with fun rides and attractions in plentiful supply you can try your hand at the bumper cars and penny arcades before relaxing on the sandy golden beach with snacks and bubbly as the sun sets over the Bristol Channel Islands. At the end of the day there is a drop-off back to Bristol Temple Meads Train Station.
