Private Entrance to Gellert Spa with Optional Massage (Full-Day Access)Located on the Danube River, Gellert Spa is fed by mineral-rich hot springs from deep within Gellert Hill, and is a major contributor to Budapest’s historic bath culture that continues to thrive today.

Begin by skipping the main entrance line and making your way to a separate welcome desk, where a host will lead you to your own private changing cabin. From there, get ready to unwind and explore 13 indoor and outdoor thermal spring pools. The thermal waters are cooled from their natural high heat of 170 degrees Fahrenheit (77 degrees Celsius) to varying temperatures and contain minerals such as magnesium and calcium.

Check out the steam rooms and saunas, too, before taking a quick dip in the cold pool. The Roman-style pool and wave pool also await you.

Budapest Gala Concert (1.5 Hours)

Continue your evening across the river at the Danube Palace or Pesti Vigado to enjoy a performance from the Danube Symphony Orchestra in collaboration with the Budapest Operetta Theatre.

Experience a captivating combination of classical, operetta, Hungarian folk and gypsy music, accompanied by ballet dancers on stage. What keeps the orchestra unique to Hungary is the accompaniment of the cimbalom, a traditional Hungarian folk instrument played by striking two beaters against a range of strings.

Every concert consists of two parts, between 40 and 45 minutes each (see sample program below). During intermission, you can have a drink at the bar, purchase DVDs of the Danube Symphony Orchestra or browse Hungarian souvenirs.

If you'd like to keep the evening going after the performance, upgrade your ticket to include an optional dinner cruise on the Danube River. Hop aboard and enjoy a candlelit meal as you glide along the city's scenic waterway.
