About this activity
You will experience the essential elements of flamenco dance in a relaxed, fun atmosphere by studying the grace and power of this compelling art.
We will cover technique for feet, arms and hands as well as clapping to different flamenco rhythms. You will be able to distinguish different styles of flamenco by the end of the session and understand a variety of rhythmic structures. You will learn a short choreography which you'll be able to record, so you can practice at home.
Flamenco Essentials is designed for complete beginners - men, women and children. No special footwear or clothing is required.
After the workshop we will go to a local tapas bar to relax and share travels and experiences.
