MOUNT SINAI & ST CATHERINE BY PLANE FROM CAIRO VIA SHARM PRIVATE

The last pick up from the hotels in Cairo/ Giza will be at around 05.00 pm and then we will drive to Cairo Airport to take your airplane to Sharm El Sheikh, upon arrival you will be mate with your tour guide who will pick you up by a private A/C van to Moses Mountain.

 

You will start to climb the 2285 m high mountain guided by one of our guides from 01:00 am to 04:30 am. You can climb by following a long path which leads to 700 steps. This takes you to the top of the mountain on time for the sunrise where you can enjoy a beautiful view. If you feel you can’t climb the mountain you can get a camel ride for 200 lE which takes you to the 700 steps.

 

After coming down from the mountain we will visit the Monastery of St. Catherine. Down the ages the monastery has become one of the most famous monuments of Sinai.then we go to a local restaurant in St Catherine City to take our breakfast, then we drive back to Sharm El Sheikh Airport where you will take your flight back to Cairo. upon arrival to Cairo airport you will be picked up back to your hotel in Cairo.
