About this activity
Meet your guide at the lobby of your hotel, then head to the Egyptian Museum. You will have the enough time to explore the museum by yourself when your guide gives you free time.

Afterwards you will head to the Great Pyramids of Giza, where you can see the three major pyramids or tombs, built by the Pharaohs Cheops, his son Chephren and Chephern's son Mykerinus, where their mummified bodies would rest for eternity.

In front of the pyramid of Chephren, you can find the guardian of this ancient mortuary complex: the legendary Great Sphinx. This monumental statue, with the body of a lion and head of a human, was carved from a single piece of Giza Plateau bedrock and is considered a national symbol of both ancient and modern Egypt.

Afterwards you will head to the Islamic Mosque of Sultan Hassan, built between 1356 and 1363 and perhaps the most majestic monument of Arab architecture in Egypt and the Mosque of Al-Rifai was constructed in two phases over the period between 1869 and 1912, when it was finally completed. Your guide will take you back to your hotel when the tour has finished.
