About this activity
You will be picked up from your hotel for a wonderful tour at Salah El Din citadel, a medieval Islamic fortification in Egypt. On Mokattam hill near the center of Cairo, the Citadel was fortified by the Ayyubid ruler Salah al-Din (Saladin) between 1176 and 1183 CE, to protect it from the Crusaders.

Facing the Citadel is the Mosque of Sultan Hassan, built between 1356 and 1363 and perhaps the most majestic monument of Arab architecture in Egypt and the Mosque of Al-Rifai was constructed in two phases over the period between 1869 and 1912, when it was finally completed.

Your lunch will be served at Al Azhar Park. Your last visit will be Khan El Khalili for a shopping session before your return to your hotel.
