Stop At: Stellenbosch Central

The second oldest town in South Africa, Stellenbosch was established along the Eerste river and is nestled between mountain ranges. The town has been cultivating vineyards for over 300 years and have established themselves in the international wine industry. Explore the wine making process with a cellar tour and wine tasting at a prestigious wine farm. You will also have time to explore the town on foot, with the chance to visit a few shops and art galleries, or to have a coffee break. Next, enjoy some lunch on a wine farm, followed by a wine tasting. Head out of Stellenbosch on the breathtaking Hellshoogte pass.

Stop At: Franschhoek Wine Tram

Experience the quaint and peaceful atmosphere of Franschhoek with a stroll through Huguenot road. Places to view include the Dutch reformed church, the Huguenot monument, and a variety of art galleries and shops. Finish off the afternoon with a final wine tasting at one of Franschhoek's famous wine farms.

Pass By: Paarl Rock

Head back towards Cape Town through the Drakenstein mountains. Stop for a photo at the Drakenstein prison to view where former President Nelson Mandela was released after his final years of captivity. Drive through Paarl, the city's name derived from the shimmering granite rock that shines like a pearl.
