Itinerary

10:00 - 11:50 am: In the Photo Exhibition area, learners are given a presentation on how to look at pictures and get information from the caption. The activities include finding the countries on a map and creative storytelling with a Q&A and prizes.
In the Museum, learners enjoy storytelling and guided tours about the history of Cape Town in groups with a guide from local communities dressed in period costume. This is followed by a short Q&A with prize giving.

If there are two groups, the groups rotate. All learners are given a bookmark.

11:50 – 12:05 pm: Learners gather outside the Chavonnes Battery Museum ramparts to witness the firing of the Noon Gun on Signal Hill before being escorted to either the Harbor Cruise of Cape Wheel.
