About this activity
You'll meet your guide at the shaded benches next to the Old Exchange museum at 122 East Bay Street. After everyone has arrived, we will set off. Your guide is city-certified historian Alexandra Jones, founder of Houselore. Alexandra has over a decade of experience in historical research and documenting historic properties in the Charleston area.
You'll then set off on a leisurely two hour stroll through the winding streets and ballast stone alleyways of Charleston's historic district. Highlights include views of Fort Sumter, stately homes South of Broad, historic taverns, Rainbow Row, and more.
Remember to wear comfortable walking shows and bring water! Sunscreen and sunglasses are also recommended, as the sun likes to stick around all year long.
