Our journey moves from the old center to the art village of Muan Sarn; this community thrives on its art galleries, particularly in making silverware. Customers will gently stroll around the village where they have the chance to admire the refined skills of seeing silver being crafted to pieces of art.

The silver ordination hall at the Sri Suphan Temple, one of the more local ones around Chiang Mai is something that we cannot skip while we’re en route. The temple is also known for its art divisions where professional craftsmen working tirelessly in improving their skills in their field of expertise.

Lacquerware at Wat Nantharam is famed for its skilled artists and creating a vast collection of household ware and decorative items. A group of avid protectors of this ancient technique have set up a school where you will receive a hands-on crash course in making your own piece of lacquer. During this beginning course in lacquerware creation, stores are shared by the community explaining the importance of keeping this authentic means of artistry alive for generations to come.
