Itinerary

Stop At: Warorot Market (Kad Luang), between Thapae Road and Chang Moi Road In the north of Nawarat Bridge and the west side of Ping River, Chiang Mai Thailand
After this enlightened morning, we head by local minivan back to your hotel for breakfast before we move on to Chiang Mai’s oldest and largest market – the Warorod Market. With our guide, we wander along the stalls where trade still goes on like the old days. One will not only find fruit, vegetables and spices here but plenty of other goods and perhaps you may walk into a nice souvenir.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Chiang Mai City Arts and Cultural Centre, Prapokklao Road T. Sriphum, A. Muang, Chiang Mai Thailand
From the market, we settle ourselves in an awaiting trishaw and head towards the Chiang Mai Art & Cultural Centre. This landmark is dedicated to the various forms of traditional art and handicraft of which Chiang Mai and surrounding regions are so well known for.
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Mae Ping River, Chiang Mai Thailand
We leave our trishaw behind and board a so-called ‘scorpion-tail’ boat (also known as a long tail boat) for a 45-minute relaxing morning journey over the Ping River. Life from the water will give you a different perspective of another side of Chiang Mai.
Duration: 45 minutes
