West Town Pizza Crawl in Chicago

2h30
About this activity
Every Saturday, our group meets at approximately 2:45 pm at Coalfire (1321 W. Grand Ave.). Check-in here with your guide, get your custom lanyard/badge (good for a few restaurant discounts and your first round free at any Goose Island Taproom), then start off with a New York-style artisan pizza.

We then walk down Grand Avenue, to taste pizzas from three other places, learrning about the area's highlights, but also discovering three additional styles of pizza - tavern-style, Sicilian and Neapolitan. Along the way, you'll meet some of the owners and pizza makers, and learn about their history and inspiration for creating their unique pizzas. We end the tour at Piccolo Sogno at 5:30 pm.

Tours include guide but not soda or alcoholic beverages. Our doughcents are trained to discuss Chicago's pizza history, and can talk about highlights from the book, "Pizza City USA." No one under age 9 please. Cost is $49 per person.
