About this activity
Join us on an adventure back in time, to discover the colorful past of this historic little island. Hop aboard our comfortable air-conditioned Old Town Trolley and wind past centuries-old buildings, churches, homes and inns, past old cannons, salt ponds, and windmills. At our stop in Cockburn Town, pay a visit to St Mary's Church and the National Museum, home of the western hemisphere's oldest known European shipwreck. Your museum guide will explain all of the interesting displays and artifacts, then guide you to the arbor to discover our native flora. After visiting the museum, hop back aboard for a narrated journey across the salt ponds, past St Thomas Church and Matthew Tank, atop the eastern ridge, for a breathtaking view of the ocean, overlooking the Cockburn Town, then back to port.
