Obidos Medieval Village & Lagoon Tour

1 day
About this activity
Known as the Town of Queens because the Portuguese Kings would give the town to their wives as a wedding gift, this stunning place is the best well-kept example of medieval architecture in Portugal with its beautiful streets, houses, churches, squares, walls and castle! Everything in this village is evolved in mystery so come get to unveil it alongside us! Within the walls we will find many bars offering the traditional Ginjinha (a Portuguese liquor, served most of the times in a chocolate cup!) as well as some typical dishes of the region! Depending on the time of the year, we might also find great events such as bidos Christmas Town (December), the International Chocolate Festival (April), the Holy Week Festival (March), the International Piano Masterclasses Festival (July) and last but not the least the incredible Medieval Fair (July/August). After the visit to this wonderful medieval city we will head to the coastline and have the opportunity to appreciate bidos Lagoon as well as to visit Foz do Arelho beach.
