DAY 01

You will be starting your tour from Colombo at 6:00 am.will be picking you up from your hotel and driving you to Udawalawe. En-route enjoy a trip to the famous gem museum in Ratnapura.

You will reach the Udawalawe .Thereafter you will meet your safari jeep to go on a lovely jeep safari. Enjoy a three-hour safari which would give you a chance to explore the amazing Udawalawe National Park.Renowned as a place that promises you sights of majestic elephants throughout the year, Udawalawe national park is one of the most undisturbed and pristine natural ecosystems on the planet enriched with a wealth of Sri Lankan elephants.

The huge herds of elephants with playful little ones being the prominent feature of the Udawalawe safari, the park also offer you glances at water buffalo, wild boar, spotted deer, sambur deer, jackal, samber, black-naped hare, mongooses, bandicoots, foxes, the endemic Toque Macaque and Gray Langers.

Stay overnight in near Ella or Bandarawela.

DAY 02

Your tour will be starting from the at 6:00 am. You will be picked up and driven to Demodara 9 arch bridge.The Nine Arch Bridge in Ella is on the Demodara loop and spans 91 meters at a height of 24m. The beautiful nine arches make it a very picturesque spot especially as it is located in a dense jungle and agricultural setting. Behind the railway, a forest is booming and below, tea leaves are being cultivated.

Then visit Horton Plains National Park.

It is suggested that you wear hike-friendly gear with proper hiking boots, and take a sweater as the temperature can drop suddenly. If you have not had breakfast at your hotel, you can bring a packed meal and enjoy it on the long drive.

Horton Plains National Park is the only national park of Sri Lanka that is situated in the Central Highlands. With plains covered in patna grass and interspersed with small patches of forest and low brush, the park is home to many hundreds of species of flora and fauna. Some of the species most anticipated by visitors are the sambur, monkeys and rare leopards.

will be driving through the park for an hour or so, before traveling to World’s End. This most dramatic feature of the park requires you to hike to it for a short distance.The plateau gives you an almost 360-degree view of the most magnificent vistas. After spending some time here taking photographs and meditating too if you wish; 

Then your guide will take you to a suitable place for a picnic lunch. You can enjoy your meal in full view of the beautiful plains. You will also have a short break afterwards.

After you will be driving to Baker’s Falls, which is located within the park. Falling from a height of 20 m, it is a majestic sight worthy of preserving in photographs.

After you will return to your vehicle and you’ll get back to the hotel by completing your tour.
