Meet your guide and driver at the hotel.
Your guide will start the day of exploring with a lovely introduction to the local culture and history with a short drive towards the city center along a stunning scenic road. On the way we will make stop at symbol of the state -the fairy-tale born Little Mermaid.
The Little Mermaid at the seashore is something you shouldn't miss. Bases on Andersen's story character, she appeared here in the beggining of the 20th century and since then had become the symbol of Copenhagen and Denmark. She's sitting on the stone not far from the castle, observing with a little sadness the wide panorama of the bay.

Stop At: Amalienborg palace square, Copenhagen 1257 Denmark
Amalienborg is the home of the Danish royal family. The palace is named after Amalia, the wife of Friederich the 3rd, who was the first one to live at this spot. It's unique because it isn't just a building, but a whole plaza, composed of the identical buildings, each named after diffirent kings of Denmark with Friederich 5th statue in the middle. The green enbankment in front of the palace complex had the great view on the contemporary Ekvipagemestervej opera theater.

Stop At: Tivoli Gardens, Vesterbrogade 3, Copenhagen 1630 Denmark
Tivoli Gardens is a famous amusement park and pleasure garden. The park opened on 15 August 1843 and is the second-oldest operating amusement park in the world, after Dyrehavsbakken, also in Denmark. From the very start, Tivoli included a variety of attractions: buildings in the exotic style of an imaginary Orient: a theatre, band stands, restaurants and cafés, flower gardens, and mechanical amusement rides such as a merry-go-round and a primitive scenic railway. After dark, colored lamps illuminated the gardens. On certain evenings, specially designed fireworks could be seen reflected in Tivoli's lake. The park is best known for its wooden roller coaster, Rutschebanen, built in 1914, still operating today.

Town hall square is a heart of Copenhagen, a must see place. It's the arena for festivities and conserts, and the famous flee market on the weekends. Stroget street starts from the town hall square. Don't miss the unique clock on the Scandic Palace Hotel and the column with troubadours, memorial and museum of Andersen. Town hall courtyard is open for visitors. The bell tower of the Town Hall can be visited with the special tour.

Stop At: Christiansborg Slot, Prins Joergens Gaard 1, Copenhagen 1218 Denmark
Surrounded by a variety of architectural masterpieces we make our way towards Christiansborg Palace on a small island just off the main street of the city. It is also the only building in the world that houses all three of a country's branches of government - the Parliament, Prime Ministers Offices and Supreme Court.

Stop At: Stroeget, Stroget, Copenhagen Denmark
Technically speaking Stroget isn't one street, but the chain of pedestrian streets and small plazas making the longest shopping promenade of Europe. It's the major must visit of Copenhagen. The leasury strall along the street, picking into the shops or stopping for a cup of coffee in a causy coffee shop is one of Copenhagen's greatest experience.

Kongens Nytorv (New Kings square) is located at the end of the Stroget street. It's the largest square of Copenhagen. Important buildings facing the square include the Royal Danish Theater from 1874, the Charlottenborg Palace from 1671 (now the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts), the Thott Palace from 1683 (now the French Embassy), the Hotel D'Angleterre and the Magasin du Nord department store.

Nyhavn means a New Harbour, is a 17th-century waterfront, canal and entertainment district, one of most distinct areas of the city. It's famous for brightly coloured 17th and early 18th century townhouses and bars, cafes and restaurants. The canal harbours many historical wooden ships, which are defenitely worth seeing. Don't miss the WW2 memorial - a huge memorial anchor.
We will also reserve some free time for individual exploring and a quality coffee break in the itinerary to give you a gratifying experience of the city of Copenhagen before heading back to your hotel.
