Private Walking Tour of Christianshavn

Meet your private guide under the statue of Bishop Absalon at Højbro Plads.

Your guide will take you for a 90 minute walk towards the island district of Christianshavn, where you will learn about its history, construction, inhabitants and see the sights and sounds of one of the more unique neighborhoods of Copenhagen.

The highlights of the tour include The old Stock Exchange "Børsen, with its dragon tail spire, the "hyggelige" Christianshavn canals with its ship, boats and cafées and The Church of Our Saviour with it spiralling exterior staircase.

We end our tour near the Free town of Christiania. We will tell you all about its history and cultural significance, but we do not enter as a tour group, since it is a residential area and they have asked all tour companies in Copenhagen to end guided tours outside the Free Town. We have chosen to respect this.
